The Cadden Family Vineyard is a pristine, sustainably farmed 6 acre vineyard planted in 2007 in the North Eastern corner of the Napa Valley appellation, situated on a subtle south facing slope at 800 ft. elevation. There are three acres dedicated to Cabernet Sauvignon on the property, planted in rocky clay loam soil. The high stress and naturally limiting conditions in this vineyard are ideal for growing vines that produce dark, intensely flavored Cabernet Sauvignon.

2015 is poised to go down as one of the best vintages in decades for Napa Valley Cabernet. A calm weathered growing season with just the right amount of rain and warm sunshine.  On September 16th, 2015 the grapes were hand picked in the early morning hours. In the cellar, the wine eased through native yeast  fermentation and then rested in French oak barrels for nearly 20 months. On April 5th, 2017 the wine was bottled unfined and unfiltered.  166 cases were produced.

Our 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon is loaded with power and balance, pride and joy. Perfumed cassis aromatics with blackberry compote, roasted fig and black cherry dancing around in harmony on the palate.  Hints of ripe plumbs, spice box and soft chalky tannins are the finishing touches of our 2015 hallmark wine.
