Purpose

TOYBOX was founded upon a dream to produce world class Cabernet Sauvignon from Napa Valley. Our approach was to find small family owned vineyards that shared the same pride in their craft as that which we do in winemaking. We’ve harvested from several vineyards over the course of the years, always in pursuit of excellence. Marcey’s, a 6 acre vineyard, planted in 1999 produces a classic old school Napa Cabernet Sauvignon, an elegant and pure wine, representative of the characteristics that put this region on the map.

Production

We harvested Cabernet Sauvignon on September 7th, 2021. Post fermentation, each lot was blended and then separated into 3 specific barrels programs, each contributing important components to the final cuvee. The Cabernet Sauvignon was bottled unfiltered on July 18th , 2023

Tasting Notes

A standout vintage for our hallmark wine, showing a purity we’ve not seen in any of the previous 9 vintages. Sage, currants, black cherry, sweet pipe tobacco and vanilla aromatics unfold seamlessly onto a juicy palate of blackberry, plum, and ripe cherry, finishing with a silky, succulent structure and lingering notes of herbs, minerals and brown sugar.
